We currently offer full-time, part-time, and PRN positions in each of our four divisions.

Job applicants must possess a high school diploma/GED and a valid driver’s license. A background check and drug test will be required. The Irene Wortham Center is an equal employment opportunity employer.

Hours:

  • Administrative Offices: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday.

  • Adult Day Activity Center: 9 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.

  • Early Learning Center: 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. year-round, except on scheduled Buncombe County School holidays and teacher workdays.

  • Residential Homes: 7 days a week, 365 days a year, with 3 shifts.

  • Supported Employment: Coaches and employees work on schedules that align with various employers.
