Cordaryl
January Winner
Cordaryl joined the IWC’s residential team in November 2023! He started off with a bang. For the past three months, Cordaryl has shown tremendous dedication to the care of the clients in our Dogwood house! He said “My favorite part of my job is having the opportunity to care for people in the IDD community”.

Scott
February Winner
Scott joined the IWC family in September 2023. Scott came to work with a rich background as a building contractor of 40 years. Scott seamlessly transitioned into our maintenance team, and has since become a crucial part! He helps keep our buildings pretty and safe, while also keep us up to date on new state regulations. Scott said, “I’ve really enjoyed meeting all of the people here, and I really enjoyed getting to remodel the Rose St. Bathroom!”

Rena
March Winner
Since August 2017 Rena has worked as the Early Learning Center’s front desk clerk. Rena’s favorite part of her job is the kids. “The kids are hilarious, you never know what is going to come our of their mouths. They bring a new perspective to my life.”

Danny
April Winner
Danny has become a vital part of our ELC program since he came on board back in February! He is the Dietary Assistant in the ELC. He helps prepare the food for the ELC, ADA, and staff. Danny said “I love working in the kitchen and cooking. I also love being able to get my hands dirty in the classroom gardens”

May Winner
Sharon has been an amazing part of the IWC Residential Team since 2008! Sharon said “IWC is so special to me beacuse I have built a family with the consumers, parents/ guradians, and my coworkers. There is never a dull moment, and there is always a chance to smile”

Ashely
June Winner
Ashely recently celebrated her year anniversary at IWC. She consistently walks into the classroom with a bright smile and a positive attitude. Ashely said “My favorite part of my job is having the chance to witness my students reach their milestones, but my favorite memory is getting the chance to volunteer on picture day. Seeing the kiddos all dressed up was adorable!”

Beverly
July Winner
Beverly has been a vital part of the IWC team for 15 years. She is our Azalea House Manager. Beverly comes to work everyday with a bright smile, and nothing but love for our consumers. Beverly said “I am grateful to work here. I was given the chance to start a career here, and I’ve enjoyed being a part of the residents' lives”

August Winner
Monica joined the IWC team in January of 2023. She is our Residential Coordinator and works tirelessly to make sure that our consumers receive the highest standard of service and care. Monica said, “I love working with the clients to learn their strengths. Then I’m able to build a treatment plan to help them reach their highest potential.”

September Winner
Jessica joined the IWC team in September 2022. Jessica was recently promoted to the Dietary Team Lead in our cafeteria. She is responsible for the meals distributed to our ELC, ADA, and staff. Jessica said” I love feeding people. It makes me happy when they have a full belly and a smile!”

October Winner
Kyle became a vital part of the IWC team in February of 2023. He is our Development and Marketing Coordinator, and focuses on showcasing everything our programs have to offer! His favorite part of his job is planning all of the company events and volunteer opportunities. "I love the holidays and being able to play a part in lifting other's team spirit. It makes it all worth it!"

Leia
November Winner
In the almost two years that Leia has worked here; she has helped out in every classroom on the lower hall. Leia is the infant rooms Assistant Teacher. From lending a hand in the cafeteria to filling in positions in other classrooms, Leia always keeps a positive attitude and smile on her face. Leia said, “I love teaching kids how to watch, and getting to witness seeing them grow and develop personalities.”
